Have your login name and password ready
Each time you log in to a Pearson online product, you must
provide your login name and password. You create a login name and password
during registration (or confirm an existing account if
you have registered before).
Forgot your login name/password?
Provide either your login name or the email address that matches your account
information. An email containing your login name and password will be
sent immediately to the email address on record for you.
To log in
Click the Log In button for students on the CourseCompass home page and follow the instructions.
You must register and enroll before you can access your
online course for the first time.
Students, before you register you will need:
- A valid email address.
- A student access code or a valid credit card.
Your new textbook should have come with a student access code. If not, you can check your campus bookstore for the Student Access Card/Kit for your textbook or course. Student access codes are nontransferable and can be redeemed one time only. You can also buy course access online during registration with a credit card (or PayPal account after July 1, 2008).
- The Course ID for your CourseCompass course. Get this from your instructor.
Note: If you are enrolling in another CourseCompasss course based on the same textbook, you may not need to make a purchase. In the following cases, you need only a new course ID from your instructor:
- You are switching to a different section of your course.
- You are retaking the same course.
- You are enrolling in the next semester of a multisemester course.
If you are not sure whether your course fits the criteria, try enrolling through your Pearson Account Summary or contact your instructor.
